Guided Mule deer hunts in New Mexico’s Unit 7

Unit 7 guided mule deer hunts offer high draw odds in a huge unit with very few tags. I have over the last 15 years gained an extensive understanding of where the deer live in this unit and offer only 1 or 2 hunters the chance each year to hunt with us here. Bucks are in the 170-200 inches as an average but there is not a huge number of deer here, just a few monsters! Hunters have to understand that this unit is not for everyone, although this unit is NOT a migration unit it has low deer numbers. Most hunters will see 5-20 deer a week, (yes a week) but 75% of our hunters will also harvest 170-190+ buck here each year. Like unit 2A this unit takes all year to locate 4-5 big bucks and chances are good we will harvest 1-2 of them. The muzzleloader hunt here is super fun as is the rifle hunt, with only 25 total rifle tags and 10 muzzleloader tags in a huge area. Unit 7 guided hunts offer a great spot and stalk glassing hunt aided by 4×4 trucks. Low deer numbers but incredible quality put this hunt as a great choice in our books, call me before you apply for this unit or if you have drawn it on your own.
