Youth Hunting Opportunities in New Mexico
New Mexico offers up some of the very best opportunities for youth hunters (under 18) to enjoy the opportunity to hunt trophy mule deer, elk, antelope and free range Oryx during special seasons for youth hunters only. We offer mule deer hunts in NW New Mexico in the best trophy producing unit in the state, as well as trophy bull hunts in the rut in some of New Mexico’s best elk hunting units, we also have late season cow hunts in December near my home. Mule deer and cow elk hunts are almost 100% draw with an outfitter and should be 100% shot opportunity, Antelope hunts are about 80% draw with 100% harvest and bull elk hunts are about 50% draw odds, Oryx are low draw odds but 100% harvest. We also offer a guided hunt on White sands Missile Base in New Mexico where we are under a very special permit to guide hunts for antelope and Oryx sometimes on the Oryx hunts you are better off applying with your son or daughter for a normal season and hunting together.

All youth hunts are 1x1 guided hunts, prices include Mom or Dad as a companion on all youth hunts, discounts will apply if more then one youth hunter is on the hunt resulting in 2x1 guide service. |

We also guide hunts in Colorado where the youth and parent can hunt together provided that the youth hunter is over 12 and has a hunter’s safety card. |

IN NEW MEXICO ALL YOUTH HUNTERS MUST HAVE A HUNTERS SAFETY CARD IN ORDER TO HUNT, AND CARRY IT IN THE FIELD WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES. There will be no refunds if you arrive with no hunter’s safety card! Reservation and cancellation policies: 50% deposit is due once you draw and 50% 60 days before the hunt date. There are no refunds of deposits on youth hunts FOR ANY REASON. |
